The Bazillionth Season of Real World Is Probably Heading to Portland + An Artist Made a Rat Dinner in Brooklyn = Eight Items Or Less

1. Farm to table, schmarm to table.  How about filthy street to table? A Brooklyn artist (naturally) hosted a dinner centered entirely on rats. Yes, rats. Laura Ginn's $100 a head meal at Allegra LaViola Gallery featured "rat and pork paté and braised and grilled rodent carcass prepared by chef Yuri Hart." And, whether this makes a difference, the rats used in the dinner were bred to be eaten in California so, in other words, they didn't come out of the subway station. Glad we missed the invite for this one. [via Eater]
