That Time Oscar de la Renta Almost Fought Cecil Beaton

By Max Kessler

New York magazine's interview with Oscar de la Renta is amazing. Among the many things we learn, our two favorites are that he used to live above Tennessee Williams -- who was noisy and into picking up "the worst trade" -- and that he almost got into a fist fight with Cecil Beaton at a party for insulting his (at the time) girlfriend Françoise de Langlade. Our minds are blown.

We definitely should've worn Iris Apfel's outfit to the all the shows on Saturday right after the storm. Or, you know, every day. [via The Cut]

Love the new ad for DKNY and Opening Ceremony's nineties-inspired capsule collection. [via Selectism]

FYI, there was a cat on the Tracy Reese runway (why oh why didn't we go to the Tracy Reese show??) and its name is Lily. Choupette's got some competition. [via Fashionista]

Things we learned from New York magazine's profile of Elle Fanning:
-She likes to shop for clothes for her future children.
-She likes mom jeans.

Reed Krakoff is the newest designer to make a macaron for Ladurée. His macaron will be black, matte, and dark chocolate-flavored. Mmmmmmmm. [via Fashionista]
