Marni, the Italian luxury label known for vibrant colors and bold graphic patterns, has opened a second boutique on the Upper East Side. Located off of Madison Ave., it's more intimate and inviting than the neighborhood's other fashion flagships. The space was also designed by Consuelo Castiglioni -- Marni's queen bee -- so the brand’s trademark intellectual-bohemian vibe is on full display.
Free-floating stainless steel racks curve up and around the bi-level store, showcasing the Spring collection separates in all of their glory. Marni fans will not be disappointed with this season’s tribal circle prints, architectural knits and accessory selection. Beyond their eye-popping buttery leather bags, the brand has a Summer Edition line of canvas carry-alls. Following a collaboration with Richard Prince last summer, the 2009 collection features exclusive abstract prints designed by Kim Gordon. How cool is that, people? Check out Kim's bags above. Or, even better, visit the new store directly. It’s the best way to experience Marni's eclectic style and high-quality goods.
