Pussy Riot's latest plan is apparently to open the New Balkan Women's Museum in Montenegro, which according to founder Maria Alyokhina, will only showcase female artists and employ female curators/administrators.

In a recent interview with Artnet, she described the museum as a way for the political art group's ethos to become part of a larger movement that gives more visibility to women -- an essential move as Alyokhina points out that "in the media, in public spaces—a lot of people are just scared to say what they really are thinking. Because if you do it, you are going to prison."

And while there's no official opening date yet, we're looking forward to seeing more details emerge re: who's exhibiting, etc. Guerilla Girls Part II, perhaps?
