Ahead of a massive Mixpak x Tryna Function show at Trans-Pecos this weekend, PAPER's proud to premiere a new, femme-centric mix by NON Worldwide head honcho Chino Amobi -- aptly dubbed "RIIOTTT."

An exploratory collection of songs dedicated to the femme strength of the NON collective -- who (for infrequent readers of this blog) are a group dedicated to breaking down long-standing Eurocentric perceptions of dance and experimental music -- the 40-minute mix features everything from a lull-inducing Beyoncé flip to excerpts of Mykki Blanco's "High School Never Ends," all connected by poignant snippets of relevant commentary.

"For this mix I was thinking about how femme tenderness and vulnerability are not signs of weakness," Chino said. "[It's] about how strong and tough a person is that can present themselves to the world creatively while projecting these emotions."

More importantly though, the mix also serves as an introduction to LA-based artist RIIOTTT and NY-based "beacon of hope and light," EMBACI, as the heir-apparents to this femme-forward charge.

So in anticipation of Friday, listen to the whole thing for yourself below and scoop your tickets here.
