Our favorite incognito artist, Leikeli47, is back with a new video for her infectious track, "Money," which we're excited to be premiering right here. When the clip, which 47 co-directed with her partner Dana Rice, begins, we see the PAPER Beautiful Person bobblehead-style before the shot cuts to scenes of the rapper rhyming in front of a patterned wall or close-ups of her masked face with scenes of New York City superimposed on top. With a smooth, confident flow, 47 talks about being on the come-up with lines like "all my life, I had to grind and hustle. I had to work like Kobe just to shine like Russell." The track first premiered on Ebro Darden's Beats 1 Show and 47 describes it as not being "about currency." Instead she says, "it's about work. Real money don't complain, we make it happen." Much of the video was shot at MILK studios in NYC, a venue 47 knows well after having performed alongside Salt n' Pepa and Santigold earlier in the year at a party for the launch of MILK Makeup. Check out the video above and keep your eye on more music from 47 to come.
