If you haven't had dinner in LVMH's "Magic Room" then you are missing out. It's like the Boom Boom Room (minus the $25 drinks and loud music) with IMAX city views and elegance overload. Last night, CEO Lisa Montague and handsome Stuart Vevers, the creative director of Loewe, the luxe Spanish label which has been around since 1846, hosted a chic sit-down dinner with Jaime de Marichalar (the senior advisor to the chairman of LVMH for Spain). Everyone was there from new W editor Stefano Tonchi with Alex White, Francesco and Alba Clemente, Joan Juliet Buck, Adelina Wong Ettelson, Greg Calego, Charlotte Sakozy, Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, Eugenia Gonzalez of Michael Bastian, Lauren Remington Platt, Kim Heirston Evans, Jackie Astier, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Fiona Scarry, Lisa Marie Fernandez, Linda Fargo, Olivia Chantecaille, Terry Richardson and Jen Brill, Stratis Morfogen and Filipa Fino, Zani Gugelmann and Bazaar's stylish and smart Kristina O'Neill. Apres-dinner, Cecelia Dean and Anne Christensen were quizzing people as to where Loewe designer Stuart Vevers should go out dancing. Some suggested Beige, others mentioned The Box, but I headed to director Tamra Davis' Basquait documentary The Radiant Child after-party chez Boom -- but that's for the next post.
