The Fierce and the Fabulous Battled It Out at Style Wars

Last night, some of the freshest talents in the fashion world gathered at Santos Party House for House of Diehl's Style Wars. With the tagline, "F*CK Ready-to-wear, Get Ready to RUMBLE," the designers participating in the NYC Style Battle Championships rumbled indeed. The contestants competed to design, produce, and style a look in minutes made entirely from recycled materials and everyday objects to present before judges Vashtie, Roxy Cottontail and Peggy Wang of band Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Ms. Cottontail and DJ Pete High provided the tunes (and, according to PAPERMAG's roving photographer, Rebecca Smeyne, some of the best looks). Check out all of the fashion madness below.
