L.A. Report: Fridays at Bardot

Camille Rousseau

Anonymity coupled with flattering lighting is probably one of the best party combos ever, of all time. Of course, if you want stares, adulation and catcalling honks, you can go stand in line at Pink’s. If you desire instead a delicious night of intimacy nestled in a cacophony of lovely people, you head to Bardot. The boho-luxe space has rightfully earned its title as crown jewel of party spots, a haven for the famous, the beautiful, and the ready-to-party-hardy. Behind Fridays at Bardot lies an impressive mashup of creative forces, showcasing an array of diversity and devotees. Owner John Lyons, collaborator Steve Adelman, and creative/brand manager Jason Scoppa have joined forces with promoting powerhouse Miss Gracie Cakes, alongside Rich Royal and Alexi Yulish for an intriguing and varied weekly event. The new night doesn’t stray from Bardot’s throwback glamour-vibe, just merely sprinkles it with an additional helping of good-natured rumble and tumble fun. Tunes by resident DJ Adam 12 and an ever-rotating roster of weekly guest DJs are sure to fill the cavernous dance floor to capacity. So make the right choice and come get down, Fridays at Bardot.
