Update: There's a Three-Story Mural of Kim's Nude Selfie in Australia

It's truly the shot seen 'round the world, now.

UPDATE 3/15/16: Well, because the world is a horrible place and people are narrow-minded, the gigantic mural of Ms. Kardashian West in Melbourne, Australia, has already been defaced.

Some one who was deeply offended by a three-story-high painting of a censored nude selfie threw brown and white paint on it. Then this poet for the ages scrawled "SLUT" across Kim's lower stomach. Even the artist, while admitting that he was "pretty bummed," felt that the reaction was inevitable, "given considering the subject matter." It might be 2016, but you just can't keep misogynist trolls down.

Andddd this is why we can't have nice things @kimkardashian

Last week, Kim Kardashian's casual Monday morning nude selfie on Instagram became a full-on Internet Event that saw Kim shutting down Twitter haters and writing a thoughtful essay on empowerment, while Peaches and Amber Rose came righteously to her defense. Now the 'gram that started it all has been turned into a three-story-high mural on the side of a building in Melbourne, Australia.

Melbourne graffiti artist lushsux posted this shot on their Instagram feed. When contacted by Mashable, the artist revealed that seeing Kim's photo moved them to want to paint it, big and bold and public. "Maybe I'm as much of an attention seeker as she is?" they mused. "[It was] quite hard to turn an archived screenshot from my phone into a three story nude figure painting."

To get a true sense of the scale, check their Instagram account for this shot of an Australian woman inspired to pull a Kim herself.
