Jenny Han who showed her collection yesterday at the Lightbox during L.A. Fashion Week, designs pieces which have that legendary diva feel, with silhouettes that are cutting edge, romantic and immensely feminine. The high waistlines recalled mid-‘20s elegance and the mini-dresses gave off a ‘60s vibe. The collection depends on luxurious fabrics, such as silks, crepe de chine, cotton voile, pure cashmere, and at the same time, she pulled of some beautiful slangy knits. PAPER sweetheart Mena Suvari (who recently hosted our Phyllis Diller art show during PAPER’s LA Project) is also a big Jenny Han fan and told me, “She know how to make a woman feel like a woman, and her use of color is divine."
