New York mecca for all things cool, Opening Ceremony, has recently partnered with legendary all-American denim giant Levi's to create an exclusive line of buttery soft cords. The debut of the co-branded collection is the latest in a lengthy roster of collaborations for the boutique which has included ventures with stylish artistes like Chloe Sevigny, Spike Jonze and the Rodarte duo. The newest pairing offers a small collection of vintage-cut cords, reminiscent of the popular 1980s slim-legged 505 jean, in an array of vibrant colors perfect for spring -- think lavender, curry, beige and fuchsia. (Yes, most New Yorkers shed their monochromatic coats as soon as the sun comes out). Other than the unisex pant styles offered, the collection also includes beach appropriate cut-offs, trucker jackets fit for a little country revelry and a dinner date classic button-down. If that wasn't enough, photographer Ryan McGinley joins the team to create unique visuals for the line's debut that are far from standard catalogue shots. Prices start at a pocket-friendly $78 and are currently available at Opening Ceremony stores in New York, LA and Tokyo.
