One of our favorite gals-about-town, the young and lovely Hannah Bronfman (who recently graced the cover of AVENUE magazine as their "Girl of the Year") will be blogging for PAPERMAG about her New York Fashion Week exploits. This being her first Fashion Week, she's all fresh-eyed and full of beans.
Oh my goodness! Oh my God! I woke up after very little sleep, slipped on a Jill Stuart pink silk pleated skirt and headed to Lincoln Center for her fashion show. In my hungover state I ended up at the backstage entrance. Luckily I was able to enter that way and even got to talk to Jill herself before the show. I loved all the fox, owl and eagle-printed silk dresses, and the tailored silk pants and all the pleats! Not to mention the heels were fantastic. Following the show, I went to a Russ and Daughters post-show buffet brunch, before heading to Charlotte Ronson's show where I was moments too late and the doors closed. That didn't stop Minnie Mortimer from running through and dodging the security. I wasn't the only one shut out; I ended up running into handbag duo Max Stein and Reece Solomon, and together we headed to Milk Studios to the Illesteva show where DJ Jus Ske had set up a killer presentation featuring an orchestra playing while all wearing the dope sunglasses. Then it was onto the Suno show, which was unreal. The silk skirts and blazers were all so beautiful and unique and the best models I have seen so far. Finally, Pamela Love's show rocked with a live jam session while the models stood heavy in jewelry, and Erin Fetherson's presentation was really cute and quite expressive.
