Ever since model and 2014 PAPER Beautiful Person Gigi Hadid posted a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of herself on set at the 2015 Pirelli Calendar shoot -- in a latex corset with a pierced nipple no less -- on Instagram back in July, officially announcing her debut participation in the uber prestigious project, we couldn't wait to see the final shot. The calendar, a who's who of the fashion industry, marks an ultimate high in the 19-year-old's lightning fast trajectory. In just one year she went from being a reality TV teen star (her mother, and former model, Yolanda Foster stars on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and NYU student to starring in campaigns for Guess and Tom Ford Velvet Orchid perfume, gracing the pages of Vogue's society section, and being called Carine Roitfeld's muse.

Unveiled today in Milan, the 2015 calendar, shot by Steven Meisel and styled by Carine Roitfeld with makeup by Pat McGrath, is an ode to high fashion fetishism -- think more Helmut Newton than Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which Hadid was also featured in this year. But don't get your hopes up for garnering a copy. To maintain its exclusive prestige, the calendar is produced in minimal quantities and gifted to a select group of Pirelli insiders -- a group the Californian baby-faced Hadid can now count herself apart of.

"At first I was on option, and I just kept thinking 'Why would they pick me over all the other million people I would love to see in the calendar?'" Hadid remembers humbly. "So when I got confirmed, I felt so lucky but also totally excited to be shooting with Steven Meisel for the first time and the fact that it was also with Carine, who's been a huge supporter of my career, and someone I am really comfortable around, made it that much better. That mix of comfort and excitement was just a great recipe for an amazing image." Hadid's fellow pinups include a MAJOR lineup of industry vets like Karen Elson, Natalia Vodianova, Isabeli Fontana, Sasha Luss, Adriana Lima, Carolyn Murphy, Cameron Russell, Joan Smalls, Raquel Zimmermann, Anna Ewers and Candice Huffman.

The face of November, Hadid poses with her legs spread, chest out on a liquid tar-like Duchess High Back chair, dressed in that latex corset and booty shorts with smoldering smoky eyes. Her eyebrows are on fleek, she's got a full, pink pout and somehow balances it all with the innocent's signature -- a braid crown. She looks like good-girl Greta gone bad. But it wasn't an obedient fraulein-turned-dominatrix that Hadid was channeling. "Originally the outfit was with leggings," she explains. "So when I saw the full thing, I immediately pictured Cat Woman, which I turned into Superwoman and then I mentally went into the super version of myself." And who is Super Gigi? "She's someone who is really strong and powerful and stands out whether she is on her own or with a male counterpart or surrounded by a team of multiple people."

Hadid's relaxed, confident pose is all the more impressive considering the effort it took to get into the corset. Of this, a laughing Hadid remembers it took "at least four people, not including myself, lots of baby powder, extreme pulling and tugging and tons of laughter and falling down" to get it just right. Flawless.
