There's a definite lesson to be learned from the way Daphne Guttierez and Nicole
Noselli of Bruce have been steadily and quietly growing their business. Although
they've been hyped since the time of their first collection, they've kept their
cool and developed in a natural way. Their past two seasons have been
supported by Shiseido, the Japanese cosmetics company that loves to support young
designers. But on to the clothes. The collection was beige, rust and black and
showed off the designers' good draping techniques. There were cowl necks, gathered
details and neck treatments. There were very few pants but lots of sexy modern
