Chilled out alien empress Erykah Badu released her contribution today to Everything's Beautiful, a forthcoming Miles Davis tribute album featuring re-works of Davis' tracks, produced by legendary Jazz pianist Robert Glasper. Badu took on Davis' groovy, swirling Latin-inflected track 'Maiyisha' from his 1974 album Get Up With It, adding a Hotline Bling-esque bossa nova beat and using Davis' original organ melody to build a languid verse about an ex that just won't leave. This blissed-out track makes an ideal soundtrack to grown-up dinner parties, contented vegetable chopping or late night pool floating.

Everything's Beautiful will be released on May 27th, the day after what would have been Miles Davis' 90th birthday.
