Paris Hilton may have kicked off the new year with an engagement announcement, but today Ellen Page took things to another level, revealing that she secretly married her girlfriend of six months, dancer Emma Portner.

Page (30) and Portner (22) posted matching announcements on Instagram, and a rep also confirmed the big news to People.
Page famously came out during a speech at a Human Rights Camaign event on Valentine's Day in 2014, earning her a standing ovation. She went on to host Vice's Gaycation series, in which she and her best friend explore LGBTQ life around the world.
