4. Animal Collective's Josh Dibb has canceled an appearance by his side-project Deakin at this weekend's Primavera Sound in Barcelona. He says he's been too busy lately to put together a proper show. LA alt-rock trio Autolux also canceled for "personal reasons."

5. The Tank's annual BENT Festival of diy electronics and circuit bending is moving to 319 Sholes Street in Brooklyn. The popular confab featuring live performances, demos and workshops runs from June 23 to 25th.

6. "The Secrets of Photographing Women." Oliver Zahm's latest photo exhibition opens tomorrow, May 25, at LA's Leadapron Gallery (8445 Melrose Avenue) and runs until June 12th.
