Watch out for a cool new documentary called Re:Generation that's coming out this winter. The film takes a different look at the songwriting and recording process through the eyes of five DJs and was directed by Amir Bar-Lev (The Tillman Story, My Kid Can Paint That). The DJs get to work in new genres or explore music in different ways by partnering with fellow musicians. For the film, The Crystal Method is teamed with Martha Reeves, DJ Premier with the Berklee School of Music Orchestra, Mark Ronson with Erykah Badu, Skrillex with the Doors, Pretty Lights with Leann Rimes and Ralph Stanley.  It was produced by Hyundai's compact sports car Veloster and The Grammy Foundation.  You can watch a little preview here.
