The Music Center in Detroit has commissioned a ballet interpreting the works of our dearly departed star man, David Bowie, who died from cancer at the age of 69 in January. Led by legendary artistic director Dwight Rhoden (where my So You Think You Can Dance fans at?), Los Angeles' Complexions Contemporary Ballet will premiere a rock-opera style production set to Bowie's hits on June 18. Apparently, the show will also feature a Metallica tribute component (??? / !!!), which, sure! Fragility, otherworldly beauty, strength, power... who better to do justice to the works of our favorite alien than the hyper-muscular aliens that dedicate their lives and bodies to perfecting supernatural artistic expression?

Watch two soloists from the Complexions Company dancing to Adele's 'To Make You Feel My Love' below, and weep for the beauty of it all.
