Last night, NYC public-art nonprofit Creative Tine hosted its annual Spring Gala at the old Domino Sugar Factory on the Williamsburg waterfront, which is slated to be turned into condos. But after last night's event in the massive, massive space (like airplane-hanger massive, football field massive -- that massive) honoring Julian Schnabel, we wouldn't be surprised if Domino enjoys a stint this summer as the cool event venue du jour before the major developing begins. Schnabel and his very pregnant fiancee May Andersen were on hand, as was Laurie Andersen, who played at the gala, as well as Marisa Tomei, Antony Hegarty, Dick Cavett, Theophilus London, Fab 5 Freddy, Dustin Yellin, Cynthia Rowley, Jason Wu and a bunch of art world movers and shakers. Check out our photos from the event below and a big, big congrats to Paper's sister company ExtraExtra, who helped produce this awesome party.
