Don't miss the exhibit of one of my favorite artists William Scott, who works out of the legendary Creative Growth Art Center (the art program for physically and developmentally disabled adults) in Oakland, California. I have been collecting Scott's work for many years and adore his exuberant take on pretty girls, spiritual celebrations, San Francisco, and now Barack Obama, to whom he has begun writing letters of advice. Words cannot describe how wonderful his art is, go see his show, which opens today and runs through April 18 at White Columns Gallery (320 W. 13th St.).
