Following music world murmurs about Coachella making a big announcement last night, sure enough, the folks behind the Indio fest shared some major news: Coachella will take to the open seas!  Like at other music festival cruises (Bruise Cruise, R. Kelly's Love Letter Cruise and the Weezer Cruise), attendees who book a cabin (prices start at $500) get all of the normal cruise perks -- food, drinks, and, presumably, a pool -- along with awesome concerts they can attend without schlepping more than the distance of a deck or two.

And, because this is Coachella (they of the two weekend-long festival), there will be not one but two separate cruises, a three-day trip to the Bahamas from December 16-19 and a four-day trip to Jamaica from December 19-23.  Both cruises depart from Ft. Lauderdale.

The line-up features headliners Pulp and Hot Chip with Girl Talk, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, a James Murphy DJ set, Simian Mobile Disco, Z-Trip, !!!, Warpaint, El-P, Grimes, Killer Mike and The Black Lips among many others (see poster above).
