Chance the Rapper took to Twitter today to dispel the rumor that he would be speaking on ESPN's panel called "Undefeated Conversation: Athletes, Responsibility, and Violence" in Chicago on August 25th; the panel will feature such former and current pro-athletes like Isiah Thomas.

The discussions would cover the ongoing crisis of law-enforcement targeting and killing people of color simply because of their skin color--especially with the horrific incidents that happened earlier this summer.

Chance took the time to give a mini-address of his own, calling for celebrities, athletes, and the media to fulfill their social duty to bring attention to police brutality and other social injustices.
