Me at the 1994 Launch of PAPERMAG.com in My Banshee Girl Earrings!

By Kim Hastreiter

Wanna have a good laugh??? Well I sure had one this weekend when David Hershkovits sent me this YouTube he found of me talking to Brandywine and Jayne County from the PAPERMAG launch on the "world wide web" 14 years ago at Irving Plaza. Oh my God, what a time warp. Back then only geeks went on the internet and none of the downtown dragoons or fashion kids knew how to go online. Remember, this was a time when only the super geeks had modems ( and dial ups to boot)! Netscape was just launched and PAPERMAG was born. It was quite a party. Check out my sick Banshee earrings. I forgot I had these and dug them out of my drawer after seeing myself in them. They are fierce, as they say.

L.A. Woman

Leave Diablo Cody Alone!

By Ann Magnuson

I acted opposite the wonderful Tom Lenk in the L.A. premiere of Amy and David Sedaris' play The Book of Liz. Tom played Duncan, the emotionally-fragile, recovering-alcoholic manager of the Pilgrim-themed restaurant that the wayward Amish-ish character of Liz -- moi -- finds employment. We never stopped laughing. (Except when we had to cry... during our emotional farewell scene. A three-hanky weeper!)

I'm happy to see Tom continues to elicit the yuks (and the tears); this time as "Huevo Hickock" in another YouTube extravaganza. I still haven't seen Juno but assume a lot of the pop-cultural poppycock jargon is part of the ex-stripper's Oscar-winning screenplay. Enjoy!

Mr. Mickey

MM Hearts Bernie, Catherine Tate's Boozy Whorey Nurse!

By Mickey Boardman

Why is it that British comedy is soooooo sick? If you're friends with Mr. Mickey, you already know about the genius Catherine Tate. MM's favorite character is Bernie, the boozy whorey Irish nurse. MM was at first a little offended on behalf of the Irish but MM's Irish friends are thrilled with the character, so go figure. MM thought everyone knew about Bernie but from the numbers on YouTube, a lot of you have yet to discover the joys of the flame haired hussy!

So dig in!!!

Superbad Looks SuperbadASS

By Shanon Kelley

Ummmm... George Michael (aka Michael Cera from the best show of all time, Arrested Development) starring in his own movie?! YES PLEASE! Superbad comes out August 17th. And after watching this trailer, tell me the truth -- how amazing does this movie look?

And now after doing further research I've discovered an amazing site -- Clark and Michael -- that features Cera and his friend doing seemingly normal but really funny stuff. I originally stumbled upon one of their episodes on youtube wherein Clark takes Michael to play miniature golf. It was quite witty.

I also happen to know that Cera is into the music scene as well. He's buddies with the band, Oh No! Oh My!, and has been seen attending their shows in Los Angeles. Oh George Michael, how I love you so.
