About Last Night... Chris Brown's Birthday Party at Rebel

Guess who? Could these Power Legs belong to anyone in the world but Rihanna? This photo was taken at the back entrance to Chris Brown’s birthday party last night at Rebel. Are they a couple? Borrowing the style of not posing together à la Jay Z and Beyonce sure must be fun -– but it’s tough on the paparazzi looking for that four-figure-yielding snapshot! Amy Winehouse Tonight at Fendi Party

MM has been drooling in anticipation of the giant Fendi party at the new store Avenue Montaigne tonight with special surprise musical guest. MM assumed it was Rihanna because she's been a superstar guest at Fashion Week ( he created a stampede of fans and photographers outside of Sonia Rykiel). But it turns out it will be Amy Winehouse. MM will have his dancing shoes on!

About Last Night... A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and UNICEF at the U.N.

The Gucci-sponsored, Madonna-conceived event, “A Night to Benefit Raising Malawi and Unicef,” was held in a tent (close to the size of Bryant Park) on the lawn of the United Nations last night. It was covered by a very exclusive pack of photogs and reporters, so we were pleased that PAPER was given the OK!
Judging by the sheer magnitude and pulchritude of the celebrities that walked the “black carpet,” just about everyone of Madonna’s friends invited showed up! There were no tattered jeans here. Some of the guests stood out for obvious reasons. Like Jennifer Lopez, who is ridiculously beautiful but oh my GOD, it looks she is carrying a team of Budweiser horses! Like Madonna, who has an iron will to keep doing whatever necessary to be a star and not a fizzling comet! Like Katie Holmes, who is beautiful and incredibly well put-together, but has the most unnerving stare! Like Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, who no longer seem like an odd couple! And like Gwyneth Paltrow, who thought it was a junior prom event or a baby-doll pajama pary…
As Kimora Lee Simmons, who clung tightly to her boyfriend Djimon Honsou, would say: “Fabulosity!”

Mr. Mickey's Front Row Fashion Week Report!

Hello fashion addicts! Mr. Mickey, your Front Row Fashion Week Reporter here (okay. sometimes second row, but that's not alliterative!). Tune in each day for a recap of the hijinks and shenanigans of the shows, presentations and general nincompoopery.
Yesterday was madness! Things started off at Miss Sixty, the Italian company the girls go crazy for. They're known mostly for denim with a '70s flair, but this season, the hunky creative director Wichy Hassan was feeling the '60s, which always hits the spot for MM! Warhol's Chelsea Girls was the inspiration and who can get enough silver and pop art prints? Meanwhile, the front row was a photographer feeding frenzy with celebs Maggie Gyllenhaal, Clive Owen, MM favorite Demi Moore, Hillary Swank and Mischa Barton (another MM favorite after hanging out with her at our Rihanna dinner last month.

Sleeping, going to the beach, listening to music (my favorite is Hawaiian), playing fetch, sunbathing, acting like a raccoon, learning obedience words in Hawaiian, doing tricks to get treats, getting spoiled by everyone especially my mommy and being very, very cute all day long!!!

Rihanna Dinner: Mischa Barton, Marc Jacobs and Moroccan Food

Last night we threw a little dinner party honoring our August cover girl Rihanna at a new hip Moroccan restaurant on 55th street called D'Or at Amalia and it was a fun bunch. I sat with Rihanna and my favorite kook, Bevvy Smith, who wrote the story. Bevvy was telling me all about how fun Harlem is getting lately and how many cute people are hanging up there. Rihanna was amazingly poised and gracious working the room. Oh, and did I mention she is incredibly gorgeous? I mean gorgeous. She didn't eat a bite, cause she was too busy yakking, although everyone around her began wolfing their salmon and steak dinners down as soon as they tasted how delicious everything was. (I kid you not, the food here is amazing).
Every time I looked over at Chiara and Nina Clemente , their mouths were full and they were digging in for more. I love those girls. They are such earth mamas. Chiara, who is busy working on an amazing film about five female artists, told me she is turning 30 next week which I can't believe! And Nina (her younger sister who is equally beautiful) just styled the CUTEST fashion piece for us that will run next month.
