Eat My Pucci

I'm not a fashion maven by any means, but some things do tickle my fancy every now and then that I must share with the world. Case in point: Darkhorse. It took me quite a while to track down this designer from Toronto.
It all started when I was reading an LA blog and happened to notice a girl in a photo wearing what quickly became my obsession -- a t-shirt reading "Eat My Pucci." I decided that I had to have it. After a month (I kid you not) of scouring the Internet I finally found it, met the man behind the shirt and got myself one. Phew!

Happy 60th Birthday Pucci!!!

It's no secret that Mr. Mickey loves some fun color combinations and who does that better than Pucci? The Florence-based fashion house celebrated it's 60th anniversary with a swell shindig at the Palazzo Pucci. Come on, how much would you pay to live in the Palazzo Pucci!!!??? Here's a snap from Style.com of three of the most glamourous of glamour pusses in attendance: Delphine Arnault, Elizabeth Hurley and Laudomia Pucci.
Naturally the current designer of Pucci, sexy and succulent Matthew Williamson was there, with his ultra-gorgeous friend Kylie Minogue. Mr. Mickey think Kylie is the closest thing we have to another Dolly Parton today. Dolly is literally an angel from heaven and so is Kylie, although since she's younger, Dolly's legend status is more established.
Finally, check out these amazing Pucci print balloons in the courtyard of the Palace. Mr. Mickey is gagging over those!!!

Eyewear Excitement from Milan!

Mr. Mickey was recently a guest at the extremely high-fashion Mido Eyewear show in Milan! MM knows all you cuties LIVE to accessorize so here is a little report on what's shaking in the world of specs!
Pictured above is the lovely Lynn Yaeger wearing Mr. Mickey's favorite frames from the entire show: Miu Miu. Isn't Miu Miu just feeling like the most fabulous brand these days? Mr. Mickey wishes he was a cute young girl so he could carry a Miu Miu bag and rock these heart shaped frames.
