We are currently obsessed with the beads that adorn and help bring to life Matthew Williamson's spring/summer collection. Each one of these conical attachments was hand-crafted by Indian beadmakers in the most unusual of ways: through wrapping the thick, metallic sheet material around the tip of a candle to get its unique shape, each one then closed and finished with a tiny beaded tassel in the center. The result is a subtle swooshing sound that accompanies you as you walk; like your own private score, making any entrance all the more grander.
