Kurt Russell, Matt Damon and Frances McDormand on Broadway... Oh my!
By Whitney Spaner

Last night I went to see Tracy Letts's new play Superior Donuts on Broadway and I came in a bit late, which is so unusual for me (cough, cough). Anyways -- I excused myself past an attractive older gentleman giving him the please think I'm cute and not obnoxious smile, and it turned out to be Kurt Russell! He was on his own (as was I) and seemed to enjoy the show very much. He was laughing throughout and gave the cast a standing ovation at the curtain call. When we were walking out Letts was waiting for him and they went backstage together. Russell said he had know the play's star Michael McKean (he's been in all of the Christopher Guest movies) for years.
In related news, I stepped out during intermission and Mr. Mickey had emailed me that that he was over at the Broadhurst watching Jude Law in Hamlet with Matt Damon, his wife Luciana Barrosa (aka the luckiest bartender in the world) and Frances McDormand! MM said that right before the show was starting an usher yelled "no pictures!" at Matt when he brought his BlackBerry out to make sure it was off, which he thought was a little unnecessary seeing as how Matt has been naked in a bathtub with Jude in the The Talented Mr. Ripley and probably doesn't need a pixilated BlackBerry photo. At least we know the stars get yelled at too.
Here are some hunky pictures of Kurt Russell and Matt Damon for some Friday kicks.

Michael Mckean is more widely known as that icon, Lenny of Lenny &Squiggy.
