"Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died" Signing at Clic Gallery

Christophe von Hohenberg, the photographer who documented Andy Warhol's memorial service for Vanity Fair in 1987, has compiled these photos into a book called Andy Warhol: The Day the Factory Died, and he'll be signing copies tonight at Clic Gallery. Among the grieving attendees captured by Von Hohenberg are Yoko Ono, Keith Haring, Robert Mapplethorpe, Francesco Clemente, Julian Schnabel, Debbie Harry, Diane von Furstenberg, Bianca Jagger, Halston, Liza Minnelli, Paloma Picasso and Stephen Sprouse. A sad occasion, but surely a spectacular social event of the time.
