About Last Night... Hilfiger Denim, Marky Ramone & PAPER Celebrate Launch of Marky Ramone's Rock Scene Collection
By Caroline Torem Craig
Last night, PAPER helped throw a raucous rock 'n' roll party at the Tommy Hilfiger store in SoHo to celebrate the launch of Marky Ramone's new "Rock Scene Collection." Mr. Ramone, a member of the Lower East Side's First Family, scorched the stage with his band Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg while DJs Harley and Cassie pumped up the jams on the ones and twos. It was nice to see Russell Simmons walk into the party with Tommy Hilfiger -- from whom he freely admits he learned so much when he first started Phat Farm. Bevvies were kindly provided by Svedka and Stella Artois.

It was a fantastic party. Aly Hilfiger dancing on a table; Mark Ramone's Blitzkrieg covering Louis Armstron's "What a wonderful world"; the awesome Caroline Torem craig. A night to remember, cheers,

NOOOOOO! LOOK, GET IT STRAIGHT!!! Wonderful World is a cover song by Louis Armstrong that JOEY RAMONE recorded and released on HIS solo album. This disgusting "mark ramone" is pissing on Joey Ramone's grave and has NO business doing this song with his horrible crap cover band.
