Vlada Debuts her New Red Hue

Last December –- when the blogosphere was speculating about Vlada Roslyakova's suddenly rouged hair –- PAPERMAG got to the root of the issue thanks to Women Management's James Tinnelly. James disclosed exclusively to us that Vlada's warmer locks were in fact colored for the then-upcoming Christian Lacroix Absynthe fragrance campaign by Sølve Sundsbo (print released on February 14). When Vlada and I caught up in Paris two weeks ago backstage at Christian Lacroix HC S/S 2009, she divulged that she was in fact supremely keen on how the strawberry blonde rinse began to fade into the most fetching light-reddish flaxen. Nevertheless on February 10, Agyness and Gwyneth's coiffure maven Laurie Foley (visit her at L'Atelier de Laurie, 124 E. 4th St.) transformed Vlada's locks into a stunning, zestful, thoroughly dynamic red. An all-out, full-blown, red-headed sprightliness just in time for Fashion Week... welcome to the ginger tribe!
