Frakes on a Plane!

What a flight! While en route to Paris to cover the haute couture shows for Fashion Schmashion, I was initially more-than-slightly creeped out (and admittedly a bit peeved off) by a certain faraway stranger in seat 8K who incessantly and vociferously shouted "FRAKES ON A PLANE!" at least once on the hour so as to ensure the entire red-eyed cabin was apprised. Thoroughly confused –- and admittedly hoping that the other passengers did not grasp that he was referring to me –- I pretended not to notice. In fact I didn't get it until I googled said quip upon landing and lo and behold, yet another Trekkie phenomenon that I was thoroughly in the dark on: a spoof based on the 2006 "Snakes on a Plane" trailer. Okay, okay -– the joke is on me. But couldn't Mr. 8K have just mentioned it once and let it go? Merci!
