Yves Saint Laurent at the de Young Museum
By Mickey Boardman
The society sweeties in San Francisco are giving New York a run for its money as is the amazing de Young Museum. Their current show, "Yves Saint Laurent," is a gorgeous look at the work of the late great French king of couture. The YSL Foundation cooperated and all the pieces in the show are original runway pieces from the Foundation (although some of the pieces are also in the de Young collection). SF is the only stop in the US of this show (which started in Montreal) so shake your tuchas to the city by the bay if you want to gag over these gowns. Also take a peek at some of the glamourpusses who showed up for the opening of the show. MM is dying to meet Dede Wilsey, who is a grand dame of SF, and who raised most of the dough to build the museum! Dede means business! Party photos from Style.com
