Peter Davis' Status Update: Boulette's Larder Is a Foodie Paradise
By Peter Davis

I'm rarely blown away by breakfast, but after chowing down around the communal table at Boulette's Larder in San Francisco's Ferry Building, all I can think about is chefs Lori Regis and Amaryll Schwetner's astoundingly great and fresh yogurt, egg dishes and beignets. Part of the thrill of BL is watching Lori make the perfect poached egg just steps away (the restaurant/food store is basically one big, happy working kitchen). I also met Niloufer Ichaporia King who wrote the cookbook My Bombay Kitchen, as well as Boulette, the dreadlocked Hungarian sheepdog who is the namesake of this truly amazing taste-palace.
