Peter Davis' Status Update: A Song to March to
By Peter Davis

I'm obsessed with fighting Proposition 8's passing and making gay marriage legal in all 50 states. All I want to do lately is protest and march. And now there is a beautiful theme song to the fight for equal rights, written and performed by Amy Turner and Kathryn Lounsbery of the L.A. band That's What She Said. "As artists and as songwriters we were inspired to write something immediately following the passage of Proposition 8," Lounsbery told me. "Though our initial feelings were of anger and sadness, we wanted to send a message of love and simplicity. This is a civil rights issue, plain and clear. It's not complicated. You should be able to be with whom you love -- how can that ever be legislated 'wrong'?" Listen to their tune "Why Is My Right Wrong" and feel free to friend me on Facebook and I'll give you the latest low down on this battle -- which will be won!
