Jean Paul Gaultier Does Evian
By Lisa Moon
With the economy at a standstill, we're all cutting down on the splurging these days and trying to ignore that looming feeling of dread as the gifting season approaches. Luckily, avant-garde fashion darling Jean Paul Gaultier has answered our holiday call with a limited edition Evian "Prêt-a-Porter" bottle going for a rock-bottom price of $13.95! This right here is the REAL DEAL. Fellow French couturier Christian Lacroix's 2008 version was touted for its "understated elegance" while this year's sleekly modern glass bottle makes no qualms about its posh designer roots, emblazoned with the oversized letters "JEANPAULGAULTIER" and described as a "shimmering gown" by the advertisers. Face it, even the super richemay be holding out on the extravagance this year, but we can all pretend to be divas by displaying the multi-purpose bottles as luxe home décor or a fabulous drinking accessory to the office whilst everyone covets around us -– that is the point of the holidays, no?
Pre-order at shopevian.com with estimated delivery late this month.

This is such a brilliant design. I bought a few cases of it for my brothers engagement party from a company called Aqua Amore in London and it went down a treat!
I think it is the bottled water of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships this year. Classic!
