Model Magdalena Frackowiak has vamped it up in full 1980's regalia for Ben Hassett's "Fancy Me" beauty editorial in the new November issue of Vogue Nippon. If I were told that the spread in fact came from a 1984 Vogue Paris (the year she was born), I can't imagine I'd even bat an eyelash of doubt!

Mr. Mickey and I can't help but equate them to the ultra-glam mall shots of yore à la Olan Mills Portrait Studio... in the classiest way possible as only a Vogue team -- led by überstylist Sabina Pantone -- could pull off.

This season Magalena walked a whopping 54 shows: opening three (Julien MacDonald, Phi, and Gianfranco Ferré) and closing an impressive five (D&G, Jil Sander, Proenza Schouler, Antonio Berardi, and Balenciaga).
