Dutch Cutie Nimue Smit Goes Gotham

It's official! James Tinnelly announced last week that the Netherlands' newest export (the Dutch girls have been on fire this season!) Nimuë Smit has just hopped across the pond and signed with Paul Rowland's prestigious Women Management New York. Nimuë entered a 2007 modeling competition, ranking in the final 10 and laying the groundwork for her eventual contracts with Code Netherlands and Women Milan. In a very selective (read: strategic) first season, Nimuë made her runway début in Milan walking the superlative Prada and Marni shows just before skipping off to Paris to open the the Miu Miu presentation. With just three shows in her repertoire Nimuë keeps the mystique alive and furthers her demand throughout the current editorial sweeps and come Fall 2009 castings.
