About Last Night... VH1's Fifth Annual Hip Hop Honors Awards

It was a parade of PAPER Magazine alumni at the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors Awards last night at the Manhattan Center. Chuck D, Eve, Wyclef Jean, De La Soul, Q-Tip, Fabolous, Treach and Naughty by Nature, to name a few, were all there, and it was all a rather unbelievable love-fest! Not one quarrel, not one inflated ego, not one dull moment! You had Flavor Flav hugging Q-Tip and Kid Rock arm-locked with Ghostface. At one point, someone yelled out "Mack 10 West Side! You Changed my life! It was all Wu Tang till I heard your rhymes." Oh wait, that was me! 30 Rock's Tracy Morgan hosted the event, but more importantly kept a three-year tradition alive. That would be partaking in a spontaneous "belly-baring" for the cameras.

A SHOUT-OUT to long time ,been there from the beginning, hip-hop photographers RONNIE WRIGHT AND ERNIE PANICIOLI.Weird ,how the photographers ON the red carpet with the stars did not know ,for all intensive purposes, who they were shooting while these photographers were behind the barricades.
