Ohne Titel's Guide to Shoe Shopping in Paris and New York
By Ohne Titel

We are still swooning over the shoes that design duo Ohne Titel created in collaboration with Italian shoe designer Cesare Paciotti, which they debuted during this past New York Fashion Week. Seriously -- look at them (pictured above right). We just had to know where Alexa Adams and Flora Gill got their inspiration, so we asked the ladies to tell us their favorite shoe stores in Paris and New York, where the two divide their time.
IN PARIS:
Our favorite designer shoe destination in Paris is Maria Luisa
Boutique Femme (7 rue Rouget de l'Isle, pictured above left).
For superb vintage designer shoes, head to Claudio Mancini’s a L'Elegance Autrefois (5 Rue de Pas de la Mule).
For the rare vintage jewel, Port de Vanves Flea Market (14eme Paris,
Underground line 13, Port de Vanves station). The Antiques and clothing items are arranged out along the street –- it’s a favorite designer inspiration haunt.
For cheap vintage and overstock shoes try Marché aux Puces de Montreuil (Avenue de la Porte de Montreuil)
IN NEW YORK:
For the best in designer shoes we go straight to the Barneys designer shoe salon on the 4th floor, or Bergdorf Goodman.
For gorgeous made-to-order leather sandals, we go to Barbara Shaum Ltd. (60 E. 4th St.). All the sandals are hand-crafted and fit to your foot by Barbara herself (see photo below). Our partner Stephen just had a pair made and he loves them.
For fabulous vintage (YSL, Norma Kamali and Halston), we go to Resurrection
(217 Mott St.)
