FWF Report: A Two-fer

In the tents and around town at events throughout this past Fashion Week, the omnipresent look has been black patent leather bondage-style thickly-strapped heels. Sure, variations have been noted, but this may as well have been the below-the-ankles uniform. Interestingly, fewer boots than seasons past were observed out and about. Granted the weather has been warm, but Fashion Week is typically the time to showcase your most ferocious pair of femme fatale footwear. Blame the ankle booties.

Anyways, we leave you with a two-fer who really bucked the trend: A gal in United Nude's Eamz shoe in white after Sunday's Tracy Reese show. Loved that she took it up a notch with the white sports socks, too. Ra ra ra!

And spotted after yesterday's Rebecca Taylor show: A gentleman donning some seriously sparkly red Cesare Paciotti loafers. We'd like to think he was paying homage to the Wizard of Oz ruby slipper collection but who knows...
