I have to admit, I wasn't quite sure what to expect at the Dolce & Gabbana store last night way up on Madison Avenue and so far away from the tents, but let me assure you, it was a show of fashionistas supreme mixed with young socialite city all mingling on the backdrop of the black, mirror and crystal-laden store. Clearly, when Michael Roberts, the fashion director of Vanity Fair, calls,
only the best of the best come a-runnin. Roberts graciously sat on a black velvet couch and signed copies of his book, The Good Shepherd, which is a visual journey following a fashionable young shepherd in a country setting (definitely worth a look) while guests waited for their chance to congratulate him.

Sightings: Lauren Santo Domingo, Fabiola Beracasa (looking completely jaw-dropping in a Dolce corseted number), Dan Ragone, Byrdie Bell, Nate Berkus, Rachel Zoe, Danny Masterson, Coralie Charriol Paul, Hamish Bowles, Joy Bryant, Grace Coddington, Carla Guigino and Becki Newton.
