A Quick Chit-Chat With Peter McGough, David McDermott and Stephen Posen
By Rebecca Suhrawardi Austin

Mr. Mickey introduced me to Peter McGough and David McDermott at the Zac Posen show last night and what fun times we had! Apparently, the artists know Zac through the Schnabel family, all of whom they have known since they were children, newborns even.
Both were dressed as dapper as can be and when I asked them who they were wearing, McDermott replied, "My suit is a boy's suit from 1928 that I had to take out to the very nth degree of what was inside of it in terms of extra cloth so I could fit into it."
At which point, Stepen Posen (Zac's dad) came along, and with all of these old family ties around me, I had to ask them to tell me a secret about all the kids from their youth. As quick as whip, McGough exclaimed, "Zac did all of their math homework!"
Really? Daddy Posen confirmed, "Zac won a New York state math competition on fractals, so yes, some people might say that Zac won the Olympics of math in high
school."
