A Quick Chit-Chat With Magnus Berger at The Last Magazine Launch

So we headed over to Milk Studios last night to fete the launch of Magnus Berger's magazine with Tenzin Wild, The Last Magazine. Berger is better know for being Julia Restoin Roitfeld's better half, but now he will be known for launching a juicy magazine with gorgeous photography, art and fashion. It is huge in size, like a newspaper, on heavy, matte-finished paper and the cover sports a giant head shot of Daria Werbory.

When I asked where he saw this project in ten years, he replied, "I don't know about in ten years, but I think the whole idea now is to promote a new generation. I feel like a lot of magazines it was always the same people working and it was really hard for the younger guys to get into it and get their work published. Not just with fashion, a lot of new artists, new music, new designers."

And where was Berger headed after this? "The after-party!" he exclaimed. But of course!
