About Last Night... The Tony Awards

BAD!
I polled the photographers on the red carpet to see who they came out for and it was a unanimous "Whoopi Goldberg." Much moaning and groaning ensued when we discovered that she would NOT be walking down the red carpet.
GOOD!
Fans and media roared with choked up emotion to see Liza Minnelli looking so fit, trim and strong.
GOOD!
America's sweetheart Brooke Shields!
BAD!
No red carpet sighting of Mama Rose aka Patti LuPone
GOOD!
Gorgeous gowns by Oscar de la Renta, Reem Accra, Calvin Klein, Pamela Roland and Prada
The photographers' press room was a happy-go-lucky silly bunch -- everyone had one thing in mind for the winners: "Please kiss the Tony!"
