The Queen as a fashion icon is hardly a new notion. Afterall, British Vogue named Her Majesty in their Best Dressed of 2007 list this past December. To boot, Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana used the Queen's traditional holiday dress code in Balmoral as divine inspiration for their entire D&G diffusion collection.
