Paul Johnson-Calderon and Leven Rambin

Once dubbed the "Soapy Social," Leven Rambin has proved to be so much more, not only as a fresh new fixture on the scene, but also as an uber-talented actress. Her star turn in Lipstick Jungle? Ferocious. She's young, witty, and gorgeous, but most importantly a loyal and caring friend.

Paul Johnson-Calderon: When did you move to the city, from where and why?
Leven Rambin: I moved to NYC when I was 14 to fulfill the call of duty on the daytime soap opera, All My Children. I moved from my native Houston, Texas.

PJ-C: You were recently on Lipstick Jungle with a major part. How did you prepare for the role?
LR: They asked me to be overly dramatic, tempermental, out of control and spoiled. So obviously it came very naturally for me. Perezhilton.com was employed as a secondary resource for human behavioral studies.

PJ-C: Brooke Shields: Beyotch or Bad mamajama?
LR: On the serious: Brooke Shields is the most fierce, elegant, nurturing, talented woman I have ever had the honor to work with.

PJ-C: Where are some of your favorite places to go in the city?
LR: Westville restaurant, What Goes Around Comes Around, Tasti D Lite, strolling around SoHo with you, Film Forum, Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, National Comedy Theater, American Museum of Natural History, John Barrett salon and Celeste restaurant on the UWS!

PJ-C: If you could play any character from any iconic teen movie, who would you choose and why?
LR: I'd be Randall Floyd in Dazed and Confused.

PJ-C: Who are your favorite designers?
LR: Alexander Wang, Ports 1961, Hogan, Cynthia Steffe, Marc Jacobs, Celine, Nicole Romano, Izzy Gold, Elie Saab, Frank Tell, Nicholai, Adam, Erin Fetherston, Rag & Bone, Chanel, Missoni

PJ-C: What's your look and what inspires you in fashion?
LR: My signature look I think would be relaxed feminine and I love layering.

PJ-C: Who do you trust the most?
LR: My mama and my BFF Jordan Lippman

PJ-C: Who do you think is super hot?
LR: Jessica Joffe, Jim Sturgess, Jamie Dornan
