No name says glamorous French fashion like Christian Lacroix and the designer, who is rarely in New York, thrilled locals last night with his presence at the opening of his chic new 57th St. boutique as well as a dinner at the Gramercy Park Hotel. Lacroix, who first catapulted to style stardom in the '80s designing for Patou, is in his prime, better and happier than ever. How's this for a glamour sandwich?
