Tokyo Style: Japanese Label Green Collaborates With Keds
By Kat Clements

As someone who is not generally over-jazzed on Keds, I was surprised first, by how smitten I was over their latest reincarnation and second, that I would find the label at the edge-erific boutique powerhouse Loveless of all places.
But thanks to the vision of Tokyo dreamweavers/clothing designers Green, fortunate fashion lovers in Japan will be scooping up these cut-out kicks, while supplies last. I fancied the Mr. Rogers-meets-Chris Benz-Fall-'08-collection transcendence so much that I picked out a rare pair of American-size shoes for myself to promote stateside this spring.
And also felt a pang of camaraderie with Keds spokesmodel Mischa Barton that can only be brought on by a shared love of shoes.

i'm terribly jealous.
frankly:
i love keds.
i love laces.
i love mr. rogers steez.
and i wish manufacturers allowed us new yorkers to rep as tough as tokyo.
honestly now, don't
we all want the kool kids keds states-side?

So I wasn't clear from the article, but on first reading I thought these shoes were an actual collaboration between Keds and Green, but I emailed Keds to ask about it and they're not. Do you guys have any more information about the shoes, or a link to Green (which is quite difficult to Google, as it turns out)?
